To check the continuity of the interlock switch (Fan), measure the resistance of connector 1 - 2 connected to CN1R1 on the indoor electronic control P.C. board.

Relock the stopper of the horizontal vane to the indoor unit. (Refer to 10-1.5.)

Turn ON the power supply.

No

Are all lamps flashing?

OK

Yes

Turn OFF the power supply.

No()

Is there resistance 0 "?

Yes

Replace the indoor electronic control P.C. board.

Replace the interlock switch(Fan).

PLASMA lamp flashes 2-time.

POWER lamp flashes 1 to 5 times while PLASMA operation failure mode (Refer to 10-2.5) is recalled.

F Check of PLASMA operation

After performing the check, make sure to release the failure mode recall function.

Turn ON the power supply.

Does PLASMA lamp flash

Yes

 

2-time with unit stopping?

 

No

1While pressing both OPERATION SELECT button and

TOO COOL button on the remote controller at the same time, press RESET button.

2First, release RESET button.

And release the other two buttons after all LCD except the set temperature in operation display section of the remote controller is displayed after 3 seconds.

3Press OPERATE/STOP (ON/OFF) button (the set temperature is displayed)

4And press PLASMA button once with the remote controller

headed towards the indoor unit. w1 PLASMA operation is selected.

wThe plasma operation check mode is set.(Refer to 10-2.5.)

High voltage (approx. -4.4 kV) is generated during PLASMA operation.

Pay careful attention and never touch PLASMA ELECTRODE UNIT and the high-voltage lead part (red wire).

Replace the indoor electronic control P.C. board.

is received.
