8. ProjectorViewProjectorView is a web-browser based remote control and monitoring tool for n etwork projectors. If you use the
projectors listed in page 32, see ProjectorView in “LAN Contr ol Utility” User Manual included with the projector.

• WhenCRESTRONisselectedwiththenetworkmenu,itbecomesth eWebcontrolforCRESTRON.
8.1. Main functions
• Itdisplaysthestatusofnetworkprojectors(suchasthenameoftheprojector,lamptemperature,lamphou rs,
errors and alerts).
• Itcontrolsnetworkprojectors(suchaspoweringonandoffnet workprojectorsandswitchinginputorlamp
modes).
• ItsendsanE-mailnoticationwhenanerrororwarningoccur s.
8.2. Starting ProjectorView
(1) Select the projector that you want to operate from th e list of projectors on the main screen.
• StartProjectorViewforoneprojectoratatime.YoucannotconcurrentlyuseProjec torViewformultiple
projectors.
(2) Click [ProjectorView] in the tool bar on the main screen.
• TheWebbrowserlaunchesautomatically.Thepasswordentrywindowisthendisplayed.

• YoucanstartProjectorViewbymanuallytypingtheprojectorIPaddressinyourwebbr owser’saddress
bar.
• Ifyouareusingaproxyserver,donotenableproxysettingswhenaccessin gtheprojectorIPaddress.
• UptothreeProjectorViewunitscanbeusedtocontrolasingleprojector.
(3) Enter the password and click [OK]. (The default pa ssword is “admin”.)
• “ProjectorView”mainwindowisdisplayed.

• Theconnectionwillturnoffinveminutesafterthepasswordentr ywindowisdisplayed.Youcannotenter
the password then. If this happens, restart the ProjectorVi ew.
