3.5.1.11CHANGE PRIMARY/SECONDARY DNS IP ADDRESSES

Using the !DN command, the Administrator can set the primary and secondary DNS IP Addresses. The command protocol for this command is as follows:

Format:

!DN <primary DNS IP Address> <secondary DNS IP Address>

Response:

Command Successful

Query Format: !DN ?

Response:

!DN <primary DNS IP Address> <secondary DNS IP Address>

Note:

Changes made via this command do not become active until the user has sent a !EE

 

command to commit the changes to EEPROM of the CiM-25.

3.5.1.12CHANGE SMTP DOMAIN NAME

Using the !SN command, the Administrator can set the SMTP domain name. The command protocol for this command is as follows:

Format:

 

!SN <string>

Response:

 

Command Successful

Where:

 

<string> can be any alphanumeric string with a length of 1 to 100

 

 

characters.

Note:

disabled in the <string> field disables SMTP.

Query Format:

!SN ?

Response:

 

!SN <string>

Note:

Changes made via this command do not become active until the user has sent a !EE

 

command to commit the changes to EEPROM of the CiM-25.

3.5.1.13CHANGE SMTP DOMAIN IP ADDRESS

Using the !SD command, the Administrator can set the SMTP Domain IP Address. The command protocol for this command is as follows:

Format: !SD <ip_address>

Response: Command Successful

Note: An IP Address of 0.0.0.0 disables SMTP.

Query Format: !SD ?

Response: !SD <ip_address>

Note: Changes made via this command do not become active until the user has sent a !EE command to commit the changes to EEPROM of the CiM-25.
