Power key P
but nothing
happens.
Be sure to press and hold the Power
key P until the display appears and you
hear an alert. If nothing happens, check
that a charged battery is installed and
fitted properly.
You can’t make
calls. Check the signal strength indicator in the
display. If the signal is weak, move to an
open space or, if you are in a building,
move closer to a window.
Check the Network settings. Try Manual
Selection, or try another network. See
“Network Setup” on page 155.
Check your Operator coverage map.
Check the Call Barring and Fixed Dial
settings.
Has the credit limit been reached? Use
your SIM PIN2 to reset the limit or
contact your Service Provider. See “In Call
Timer” on page 134.
Has a new SIM card been inserted?
Check that no new restrictions have been
imposed.
