What to Do If...

Your phone	Have you inserted a new SIM card? Enter
won’t unlock.	the new PIN. See “SIM PIN” on
	page 140.
	Do you have a replacement phone? Enter
	the default phone unlock code—1234.
	Did you forget the unlock code? Press the
	Menu key M and enter the correct
	Security code to unlock the phone.
Your PIN is	Enter the PIN unblocking code supplied
blocked.	with your SIM card. See “SIM PIN”
	page 142.
Your PIN2 is	Enter the PIN2 unblocking code supplied
blocked	with your SIM card. See “SIM PIN2”
	page 143.
Your SIM card	Is the card inserted the right way round?
won’t work.	See “SIM Card Insertion/ Removal” on
	page 31.
	Is the gold chip visibly damaged or
	scratched? Return the card to your
	Service Provider.
	Check the SIM contacts. If they are dirty,
	clean them with an antistatic cloth.
You can’t cancel	Wait until you are in an area with good
Call Forwarding	network coverage and try again.
