Using Your Phone’s Menus

:

On	Receive cell broadcast messages. You must
	use Active Channel to specify the
	appropriate channels.
Off	Do not receive any cell broadcast messages,
	and automatically delete all existing cell
	broadcast messages.

Active Channels

This option allows you to select up to five different channels for receiving cell broadcast messages. If you modify a channel, you also remove any message associated with it.

1When you select this option, scroll to the active channels you require (1- 5), then press + (Select).

The phone prompts you to Enter Channel No:.

2Enter the channel number and press + (OK).

The phone stores the channel details and returns you to the active channel list.

3Press the Menu key M for the following options:

New Sets up a new cell broadcast channel. When selected, the phone prompts you to enter Channel No. The new broadcast channel will be added to the active channel list.

Disable Disables the selected cell broadcast channel. Disable Disables all the cell broadcast channels and

all all the existing messages.
