The terminal exits Emergency Mode and switches to the Home display:

If you press and hold the Exit soft key during an Emer- gency Group Call.

If the infrastructure ends the Emergency Group Call.

Sending an Emergency Alarm

Your MTH800 will send an Emergency Alarm to the dispatcher (if configured by your Service Provider):

Automatically, upon entering Emergency Mode.

If you press the Emergency button while the MTH800 is in Emergency Mode.

If you change group while in Emergency Mode.

The screen will show one of the following delivery reports:

Alarm Sent

Alarm Failed

In both cases, the screen returns within a few seconds to the main screen of the Emergency Mode.

Some systems do not support the Emergency Alarm feature when the user is in a “Local Area Service” area (see page 30).
