Monitor

Onceaconfigurationhasbeensetup,oraconfigurationfilehasbeenloaded,NPortServerMonitor willautomaticallystartmonitoringserversandports.Refertothefigurebelowforanexampleofthe typeofmonitoringinformationthatwillbedisplayed.(ChecktheHelpmenutofindadditional informationaboutusingthisprogram.)

NPortServerMonitorwillusedifferentcolorstoindicatethestatusoftheports.

—Black means that the port is currently hooked up to your LAN and is active.

—Red means that the port is currently not accessible. It could either be inactive, removed from the LAN, or have a routing error.

—Pink means that two or more NPort Server Pros have been assigned the same IP address. You must use NPort Pro Manager to rectify the situation.
