Using NPort Pro Manager

WhenyouruntheSetupprogramtoinstallNPortServerProsoftware,youaregiventheoptiontorun theAddServerWizard.However,youmayrunNPortProManageratalatertimeifyoudecideto addmoreservers,changeservernames,removeservers,orchangeCOMnames.TostartNPortPro Manager,clickon:

StartàProgramsàNPortServerProàNPortProManager.

ThisactivatestheNPortProManagermainwindow,shownbelow,withservernamesandmodel numbersdisplayedintheleftinfobox.WhenaparticularNPortServerProishighlighted,theports associatedwiththatserver,theassociatedCOMportnames,andotherrelevantinformation,are shownintherightinfobox.

NPortProManagerfunctionscanbeselectedfromeitherthemainmenuorthetoolbar.Asshown below,functionsrelatedtoserversarelistedunderthe Servermenu,andportfunctionsareunderthe Portmenu.Moreover,whenyouusetherightmousebuttontoclickonaportorserver,awindow withalistoffunctionsavailablefortheselecteditemopensup.Ifyouforgetthefunctionassociated withaparticularicon,positionthemousepointerovertheicon.Thiswillcauseamessagewindow containing thenameofthefunctiontopopup.
