The part of the LCM operation that still requires some explanation is how to edit the configurable options. In fact, you will only encounter two types of configurable options.

The first type involves entering numbers, such as IP addresses, Netmasks, etc. In this case, you change the number one digit at a time. The up cursor (U) is used to decrease the highlighted digit, the down cursor (V) is used to increase the highlighted digit, and the sel button is used to move to the next digit. When the last digit has been changed, pressing sel simply enters the number into NPort 5600 Series’ memory.

The second type of configurable option is when there are only a small number of options from which to choose (although only one option will be visible at a time). Consider the
