Front Panel Features
The NI 8171 series has the following front-panel features:
• A system reset pushbutton(hold th ebutton for at least 2 seconds to
generate ar esetto the contro ller)
• Twofront-panel LEDs that show PC status:
–ThePOWER OK LED indicates that the power is on and reset is
no longer asserted.
–TheDRIVE LED indicates when an access to the internal hard
disk is occurring.
Data Storage
The NI8171 series has the following data storage features:
• InternalIDE hard drive
– 2.5in. notebook hard drive
– Supportsup to ATA-5(UDMA 100)
• 1.44MBfloppydisk
• USB storage support—USB CD-ROMor floppy drive
