Installing from a Network
To install anO S from a network:
1. Create a DOS boot disk with network support. (The DOS network
driversand a network boot disk example are on the recovery CD.)
2. Useanother PC on the network with a CD-ROM drive. Share the drive
andloadtheOSinstallationCD.
3. Bootthe NI 8171 series using the network boot disk.
4. Run the net utility from the adrive.Map the shared CD-ROM drive.
5. Run the OS setup program from the mapped driveor copy the
CD-ROMimage to the hard drive and run the OS setup program.
