15.On CPU box 1 loosen the two thumbscrews on its CPU cover and remove the cover, see Figure 4-25

16.On CPU box 1 install the four processor cartridges and VRMs removed from the system baseboard in step 5 of previous subsection Removing/Installing Processor Cartridges on System Baseboard. To install processor cartridges and VRMs follow steps 13 through 17 of the previous subsection Removing/Installing Processor Cartridges on System Baseboard in this chapter.

17.On CPU box 1 reattach the CPU cover removed in step 15 above.

18.On CPU box 2 remove its CPU cover by performing step 15 above and then remove the appropriate pre-mounted termination boards. To remove termination boards, see subsection Removing/Installing Processor Cartridges on System Baseboard earlier in this chapter.

Note: You need to remove any pre-mounted termination boards when increasing the number of processors to five or more.
