This section describes how to maintain the server switch unit.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
To use the server switch unit in good condition, regularly check and maintain the unit described below. If the server switch unit is assumed as faulty, immediately contact your service representative.
Cleaning
Clean the server switch unit on a regular basis to keep the unit in a good condition.
WARNING
Observe the following instructions to use the server switch unit and the other peripherals safely. Failure to follow these instructions may result in death or serious personal injury. See the description on pages vi through xiv for details.
Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the server switch unit.
Disconnect the AC cord before working with the server switch unit.
Wipe the external surfaces of the server switch unit with a dry soft cloth.

Notice | volatile solvents such as thinner and benzene to clean the unit. |
The power receptacle, the cables, the connectors on the rear panel of the | |
