Open a command prompt, and type ping 192.168.1.1, then press Enter.

If the result displayed is similar to that shown in figure 4-1, the connection between your PC and the router has been established.

If the result displayed is similar to that shown in figure 4-2, it means that your PC has not connected to the router.

Please check it following these steps:

1.Is the connection between your PC and the router correct?

Note: The 1/2/3/4 LEDs of LAN port which you link to on the routerand LEDs on yourPC’s adaptershould be lit.

2.Is the TCP/IP configuration for your PC correct?

Note: If the router’s IP address is 192.168.1.1, yourPC’s IP address must be within the range of 192.168.1.2 ~ 192.168.1.254, the gateway must be 192.168.1.1
