Troubleshooting

If you experience any problems, check the troubleshooting list below.

If you are still not able to resolve the problem, consult with your nearest Nikon representative.

1Power Supply

SymptomThe power does not come on.The main unit is hot to the touch.

Corrective action

•Make sure the power cord is plugged firmly into an AC outlet at one end and the DS AC adapter and then the DC-IN connector on the DS-L1 main unit on the other.

•Use the power cord supplied with the system.

•Turn on the POWER switch.

•The main unit temperature may increase when used in a hot or confined space. If the high temperature is accompanied by a burnt smell or other offensive smells, turn off the switch, unplug the power cord and ask for repair.
