Technical Notes
The camera may record sounds made by camera controls or by the lens during focusing or when aperture is adjusted to reflect changes in the brightness of the subject. Digital zoom can be used, but footage shot with digital zoom will be noticeably “grainy” (A14); optical zoom is not available.

Autofocus: When Single AF (the default setting; A28) is selected for Autofocus mode in the movie menu, the camera will focus when the

2Find an object that is at the same distance from the camera as your subject and frame it in the center of the display.
3Press the shutter-release button halfway to focus.
4Keeping the button pressed halfway, recompose the shot with your original subject in the desired position.
5Press the button the rest of the way down to start recording.
