Use this mode to achieve a natural balance between the main subject and background lighting in portraits taken at night.

The camera detects and focuses on a face looking toward the camera (Shooting with Face PriorityA92).

If the camera detects multiple faces, the camera focuses on the face closest to the camera.

If no face is recognized, the camera will focus on the subject in center of frame.

Digital zoom is not available.

Hold the camera steadily as pictures are easily affected by

camera shake. When shooting under low lighting, use of a tripod is recommended. Set Vibration reduction (A109) to Off when using a tripod.
