The Movie Menu

Movies

Movie options and Autofocus mode (A 62) settings can be changed in the movie menu.

Press the d button in movie mode to display the movie menu and use the rotary multi selector to modify and apply settings.

DSelecting Movie Options

The movie menu offers the options shown below.

ITV movie 640	Image size: 640 × 480 pixels
(default setting)	Frame rate: 30 frames per second
SSmall size 320	Image size: 320 × 240 pixels
	Frame rate: 30 frames per second

CMovie Options and Maximum Movie Length

*All figures are approximate. The maximum recording time may vary with make of memory card. This camera can record movies up to 30 minutes in length or a file size of up to 2 GB. The amount of recording time remaining (up to 30 minutes or 2 GB) is displayed during recording.

IAutofocus Mode

Choose how the camera focuses in movie mode.

Option	Description
A Single AF	Camera focuses when shutter-release button is pressed halfway
(default setting)	and locks at this position during shooting.
	Camera focuses continuously until focus is acquired and locked.
B Full-time AF	To prevent sound of camera focusing from interfering with
	recording, use of Single AF is recommended.
