DESCRIPTION

The Set Real Time Clock (S) command is used to set the unit’s internal real-time clock. The time argument follows the same format as the standard time/date stamp input format as specified in the Data Format section of Appendix C.

The Set Real Time Clock command is used to set the battery backed internal real-time clock of the unit. In order for the time/date stamped data to be accurate, the internal real-time clock must be set to an accurate time/date. Once set, however, the battery-backed real-time clock will remember the current time, even when powered-off.
