For JPEG files, a thumbnail-size pre- view appears along with File Size and Date Created information.

During playback, the following infor- mation is displayed in the upper-right corner: folder number, file number, elapsed time, and if the current file is in the playlist, its playlist number. The Title, Artist Name, and Album Name information is also displayed.

2To open a folder, use the remote

controller’s Up and Down []/[ ] Remote controller buttons to select it, and then

press [ENTER].

Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ] buttons

to select tracks in the open folder.

3To close a folder (i.e., move back up the directory tree), press the

Remote controller [RETURN] button.

RETURN	To get back to the root level, press the
	[TOP MENU] button.

Using the Disc Navigator

MP3 JPEG

With the Disc Navigator you can play and display MP3 and JPEG files.

1Load and select a disc contain- ing MP3 or JPEG files.

See pages 23 and 24.

The Disc Navigator appears, as shown.

The number of the currently selected disc is shown on the disc icon. The Folder column lists the folders. The Track column lists the tracks in the open folder.

Remote controller

To play a track, select it, and then press the Play [ ] or [ENTER] button).

When all of the tracks in the folder have been played, tracks in the next folder are played.

You can select the next or previous track during playback by using the

Next [ ] and Previous [ ] buttons.

The first press of the Previous [ ] button selects the beginning of the cur- rent track.

If the disc contains MP3 files and JPEG files, they are played/displayed in order. JPEG files will be displayed in a slide- show. Press the [MENU] button to dis- play the first nine pictures at thumbnail- size (see page 33). Depending on the disc, the first nine pictures may be dis- played automatically.
