S-Cmd 07 ID INTERVAL TIMER
This command selects the time interval for the CW ID (station identification). The ID will try to be courteous in that it will
wait for the user to un-key before the controller sends the ID. A cleanup ID will also occur after the repeater activity has
stopped and the timer has elapsed.
SYNTAX: 07 [Time]
READ BACK: 07
STORAGE: RAM/EEPROM
PARAMETERS: Time 0 = Disable ID, 1 to 255 = tenths of minutes (1/10 Minutes or 6 second increments)
DEFAULT: 100 (10.0 Minutes)
EXAMPLE: 07 55 Set 5.5 Minutes between IDs
S-Cmd 08 COURTESY MESSAGE TIMER
The courtesy message timer is the selected time between the
end of COS (carrier dropping), to the start of a courtesy
message. This applies to ALL types of courtesy messages. If
the carrier is picked up prior to the courtesy timer expiration,
the courtesy message will be skipped. When the courtesy
message is started, the repeater time-out timer is reset.
SYNTAX: 08 [Time]
READ BACK: 08
STORAGE: RAM/EEPROM
PARAMETERS: Time 0 = Disable Courtesy, 1 to 99 = tenths of seconds (1/10 Seconds or 100 ms)
DEFAULT: 15 (1.5 Seconds)
EXAMPLE: 08 35 3.5 Seconds
S-Cmd 09 LED STATUS DISPLAY ON/OFF
The LED status display serves no purpose when someone is not present at the repeater. This command can be used to turn the
LED status display on or off to reduce controller current drain. In low power or solar powered systems, this function can be
useful to reduce the controller total power consumption.
SYNTAX: 09 [Mode]
READ BACK: 09
STORAGE: RAM/EEPROM
PARAMETERS: Mode 1 = On, 0 = Off
DEFAULT: Mode 1, On
EXAMPLE: 09 0 Turns Status LED display off (reduce system current drain)
