Turn on the power, insert a cassette, and then set the various switches as follows.

AUDIO SELECT CH1/CH2: AUTO

TCG: F-RUN or R-RUN

OUTPUT: CAM/AUTO KNEE ON

GAIN: Set the smallest gain value possible.

Iris: AUTO
