Protecting stored data

If the setup card’s WRITE PROTECT switch is set to ON, data is not rewritten even if the UP (or DOWN) button is pressed in step 4.

Set to ON.

When data is not written

If the following error messages appear when the UP (or DOWN) button is pressed in step 4, the data is not written.

Data writing error messages

Error message	Condition
NO CONFIG	The setup card is not
	formatted.
NO CARD	A setup card is not
	inserted.
WRITE PROTECT	The write protect switch on
	the side of the card is set to
	ON.
ERROR	Data cannot be written on
	the card.

Countermeasure

Format the card.

Insert a card.

Set the write protect switch on the side of the card to OFF.

The card may be defective. Replace the card.
