Substitute Memory Reception (see Note 1) (see Note 2)

If the recording paper runs out or jams or if the toner runs out dur ing reception, the machine aut omatically

starts receiving documents into its i mage data memory. Stored documents are pri nted automatically after

replacing the recording paper or the toner cartr idge. (See Note 1 and 2)

NOTE

1. If the memory overflows, the machine will stop receiving and release the communication line.

The document(s) stored in the memory up to that moment will be printed.

2. If you wish to turn off the substitute reception function, change the setting of Fax Parameter No. 022 to "Invalid".

1When the machine finishes the memory reception

and there is no recording paper or toner, add Paper

or Out of Toner Indicator appears on the display.

2Install the recording paper or replace the toner

cartridge.

The machine will automatically start printing the

document(s) stored in the memory.
