Playing back motion pictures by date

Scenes recorded on the same day can be played back in succession.

1 Touch the date select icon.

ADate select icon

2 Touch the playback date.

The scenes recorded on the date selected are displayed as thumbnails.

3 Touch the scene to be played back.

Playing back of all the scenes returns if the power is turned off or the mode is changed.

Even if scenes are recorded on the same day, they are grouped separately in the following cases.

jWhen the number of scenes exceeds 99 jWhen the media is repaired

jWhen the recording mode is changed from

HA/HG/HX to HE* or HE to HA/HG/HX*

*–1, –2... is added after the recording date displayed on the screen.

Intelligent scene selection

Play back the scenes excluding a portion of the scene judged to have failed to shoot due to fast movement of this unit, camera shake, or focus error.

1 Touch .

2 Touch [INTEL. SCENE].

3 Touch the scene to be played back.

Up to 9 sections can be skipped for a single scene.

When motion pictures are skipped, the image stops momentarily.

The position of sections to be skipped may vary depending on the type of recording, with some having no skipped parts.

Divided scene will not be skipped.

Playing back all the scenes returns if the power is turned off or the mode is changed.

For data that are edited with the editing function of HD Writer AE 1.5, the Intelligent scene selection is disabled.

Deletion of scenes cannot be done during the Intelligent scene selection.

Highlight&Time frame index display does not appear.
