Cleaning

1Disconnect the power cord and the

telephone line cord.

2Press down the printer cover open button

then open the printer cover.

3Remove the drum and toner unit by holding

the two tabs.

4Clean the lower glass with a soft and dry

cloth.

Caution:

● Be careful when handling the drum and toner unit. See the caution for the drum unit on

page 74 for details.

● Do not use paper products, such as paper towels or tissues, to clean the inside of the

unit.The area near the lower glass is hot. We recommend to clean the lower glass after

the unit cools.

5Reinstall the drum and toner unit by

holding the tabs.
