	● The cable or the PC power cord is not connected correctly. Check

●The software is not running on the PC. Restart the software and try again.

PLEASE WAIT		● The unit is warming up. Wait for a while.
		● The other party’s fax machine is busy or has run out of recording

REMOVE	DOCUMENT
		● Attempted to transmit a document longer than 600 mm. Press

TONER EMPTY	● The toner cartridge is empty. Replace the toner cartridge (p. 74).
	● The remaining toner is low. Replace the toner cartridge as soon

	as possible (p. 74). We recommend you replace the drum unit
	every third time you replace the toner cartridge. To check the
	drum life and quality, please print the printer test list (p. 81).
	● A transmission error occurred. Try again.
TRANSMIT ERROR
	● The fax message was printed on paper which is shorter than A4
