Other programming

Changing the handset name

The default handset name is Handset 1to Handset 6. You can customize the name of each handset (“Bob”, “Kitchen”, etc.). This is useful when you make intercom calls between handsets. To display the handset name in standby mode, turn on the handset name display feature (page 42).

Registering a handset to the base unit

The supplied handset and base unit are pre-registered. If for some reason the handset is not registered to the base unit, re-register the handset.

1Handset:

Press and hold MN for about 5 seconds. R If all registered handsets start ringing, press MN again to stop, then repeat

this step.

3Handset:

Press MOKN, then wait until a long beep sounds.

Deregistering a handset
