Using the Smart function key

When New messageis displayed and the

indicator flashes slowly, there are new messages.

Press M N in step 1 on “Listening to messages”, page 52.

RNew messagemust be set to “On” in “Setting the Smart function key”, page 16.

R You can erase the selected message as follows:

*1 If pressed within the first 5 seconds of a

message, the previous message is played except when playing back from the message list.

*2 When you play a message from the message list, the unit stops message playback and the display goes back to the message list.
