RThe maximum number of handsets (6) is already
registered to the base unit. Cancel unused handset
registrations from the base unit (page 42).
Battery recharge

The handset beeps and/or
flashes.
RBattery charge is low. Fully charge the batteries (page 10).
I fully charged the batteries, but
still flashes,

the operating time seems to
be shorter.
RClean the battery ends ( , ) and the charge contacts
with a dry cloth and charge again.
RIt is time to replace the batteries (page 10).
Making/answering calls, intercom
Problem Cause/solution
is displayed. RThe handset is too far from the base unit. Move closer.
RThe base unit’s AC adaptor is not properly connected.
Reconnect AC adaptor to the base unit.
RThe handset is not registered to the base unit. Register it
(page 42).
Noise is heard while talking,
sound cuts in and out.
RYou are using the handset or base unit in an area with
high electrical interference. Re-position the base unit and
use the handset away from sources of interference.
RMove closer to the base unit.
RIf you use a DSL/ADSL service, we recommend
connecting a DSL/ADSL filter between the base unit and
the telephone line jack. Contact your DSL/ADSL provider
for details.
RWhile you are talking on a cellular call using the link to cell
feature, you may hear noise during a cellular call if your
smartphone is too close to the base unit. For best
performance, we recommend placing your smartphone
between 0.6 m to 3 m (2 feet to 10 feet) away from the
base unit.
Unexpected sounds from your
cellular phone are heard
through the unit’s speaker.
RApps installed on your smartphone may treat in-app
sound effects or others sounds as music. In this case,
these sounds may be heard through the unit’s speaker.
Use your smartphone to quit the corresponding app.
