Using the Phonebook

Base Unit Phonebook

To use the Audible Caller ID feature (p.24), you must store caller information into the base unit phonebook.

Follow steps 1 and 2 on the previous page, then:

3	Select “Base	4	Enter Name (p.27).	5	Press JOYSTICK.

the display shows the number of empty phonebook entries.

	(max. 24 digits)

	within 1 minute.

Press JOYSTICK.	8	Select “Start
		Recording”.
Press JOYSTICK.	11	Select “Save”, then
		“Saved” is displayed.

•If “Memory Full” is displayed in step 3, the phonebook is full. To store, delete other stored items in the phonebook.

•If “Memory Full” is displayed in step 8, the remaining recording time is 0. To store, delete unnecessary incoming/memo messages (p.65).

•To continue storing other caller information, repeat from step 4.

Copying an Item from Handset Phonebook to Base Unit Phonebook

Press INTERCOM Press Press to select “Copy to Base”

Move to select the desired item Press (“Copy Complete” is displayed.)

To use the Audible Caller ID feature, record the name (see Base Unit Phonebook on page 31).
