zzThis function provides the following options in the cooling fans’ operation when the projector is

turned off.

L1 Normal operation

Slower and lower-sound than

L2 the normal operation (L1), but it takes more time to cool the projector down.

Setting

Video delay control

This function allows you to make a digital processing of a projected image faster.

1111Press ▲▼ to select [Video delay control] and then press the <SELECT> button.

2222Press ▲▼ to select one item between [On] and [Off ].

Note

zz[Noise reduction] and [Progressive] cannot be selected when [Video delay control] function is set to [On].

Fan control

1111Press ▲▼ to select [Fan control] and then Press <SELECT> button.

zzChoose the running speed of cooling fans from the following options according to the ground elevation under which you use the projector.

Off Normal speed.*1

On1 Faster than [Off] mode.*2

On2 Faster than [On 1] mode.*3

*****Set this function to [Off ] when using the projector in non-high altitude environment.

*****Select this mode when using the projector in high altitudes (about 1,200 meters or more above the sea level) where the fans have less cooling effect.

*****Select this mode when using the projector in higher altitudes (than above where the fans have lesser cooling effect).

Note

zzFailure to set the running speed of cooling fans properly may affect the projector life.

zzThe fan noise becomes louder in [On 1] and [On 2].

Lamp runtime

This function is used to display the cumulative lamp operating time and reset the lamp runtime.

1111Press ▲▼ to select [Lamp runtime] and then press the <SELECT> button.

2222Press ►or the <SELECT> button to access the submenu items.

JJLamp runtime

Show the total accumulated lamp run time.

JJLamp runtime reset

After replacing the lamp unit, be sure to reset the timer.

1111Press ▲▼ to select [Lamp runtime reset].

2222Press the <SELECT> button.

zz[Lamp runtime Reset?] appears. Select [Yes] to continue. Another confirmation dialog box appears, select [Yes] to reset the Lamp runtime.

Attention

zzWhen the lamp runtime is elapsed the estimated duration, [Lamp runtime] will be displayed in re d and the Lamp replacement icon (Æpage 63) will appear on the screen, indicating that the end of lamp life is reached. When replacing the lamp unit, reset the lamp runtime.Filter
