Subnet Mask

The subnet mask is 32-bit number that filters a destination IP address to determine to which subnet it belongs. For example, a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0 for a network ID of 192.5.0.0 tells the switch to accept traffic des- tined for IP addresses that begin with 192.5—all other packets are ignored.

Default Gateway

The IP address of the gateway. The gateway IP address can be retrieved automatically in DHCP mode or be set up manually with a fixed IP address.

Domain name

The network domain of the SmartLink.

DNS address

Refers to the address of your domain name server, if applicable.
