Select a display form at:
• [4:3 Letterbox] – For 4:3 screen TV: wide -
screen display with bl ack bars on the top and
bottom of the screen.
• [4:3 Pan scan] – For 4:3 scre en TV: full-heig ht
display with the trimmed sides.
• [16:9 Widescreen] – For w ide-screen TV:
display picture at r atio 16:9.
• [16:9] – For 16:9 scr een TV: display pic ture at
ratio 4:3 for a disc with 4 :3 ratio, with blac k
bars on the left and r ight side of the scree n.
• [21:9 Cinema] – For wide -screen TV of dis play
ratio 21:9.
Note
If • [4:3 Panscan] you have selected is not support ed by the
disc, the screen dis plays in the [4:3 Letterbox] format.
Help text display is av ailable in all m odes, except • [21:9 Cinema].

to the TV’s user manu al.

Select an HDMI vid eo output resolu tion that is
compatible with your TV display capability.
• [Auto] - Detec t and select the be st supported
video resolution automatically.
• [Native] - Set to original v ideo resolutio n.
• [480i /576i], [480p /576p], [720p], [1080i],
[1080p], [1080 p/24Hz] - Select a vid eo
resolution sett ing that best is suppo rted by the
TV. See the TV manual for d etails.
Note
If a selected video r esolution is no t supported w ith •
your TV and a blank scre en appears , to recover pict ure
display, wait for 10 second s, or on the remo te control
press and then press “731” (numeric buttons).
Note
Only services on th e Net TV pages ca n be locked. •
Advertisemen t and open Inter net websites c an not be
locked.

Clear history
Clear the Parental co ntrol code, passwo rds,
cookies and histor y.
1) Press to display the home menu.
2) Select [Setup] > [Network Setup] >
[Clear Net TV Memory].
Note
If you clear the Net TV me mory with Cl ear histor y, you •
need to redo the firs t use registr ation when you l ink up
to Net TV again. If you ha ve register ed before, you ca n
restore your form er favorite se rvices and for mer locks.
6 Adjust settings
