Changing the virtual speed of the vehicle

When calculating the expected time of arrival and the number of hours to the destination, set the average speed for the freeway or ordin- ary roads using [+] and [–].

1Display the “Region” screen.

2Touch [Speed].

The “Average Speed Settings” screen ap- pears.

3 Touch [+] or [–] to set the speed.

pThe estimated time of arrival is not necessa- rily estimated based on this speed value.

4 Touch [OK].

The settings are completed.

Setting the keyboard layout

You can select the type of keyboard to be used for inputting characters.

1Display the “Region” screen.

2Touch [Keyboard].

Each time you touch the key changes that set- ting.

Replicating the settings

You can import settings you have made on the utility program “AVIC FEEDS” which is avail- able separately to the navigation system.

1Insert an SD memory card into the SD card slot.

=For more details of the operation, refer to In- serting and ejecting an SD memory card on page 11.

2Display the “Navigation Menu” screen.

3Touch [Cpy Setting].

A message confirming whether to update the settings appears.

4Touch [Yes]. Update starts.

After updating the settings is finished, a mes- sage confirming whether to restart the naviga- tion system appears.

5Touch [OK].

The navigation system restarts.
