1Functiondisplay
Showsthe function status.
1 PressMulti-Control to display the main
menu.
FUNCTIONand AUDIO appear on the display.
2 UseMulti-Control to select FUNCTION.
Turnto change the menu option; press to se-
lect.
Thefunction name appears on the display.
3 TurnMulti-Control to select the func-
tion.
TurnMulti-Control clockwise to switch be-
tweenthe functions in the following order:
Repeat(repeat play)Random (random play)
Scan(scan play)Pause (pause)FF/REV
(searchmethod)Tag Read (tag display)
COMP/BMX(compression and BMX)disc
titleinput
#Youcan also switch between the functions in
thereverse order by turning Multi-Control coun-
terclockwise.
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
Notes
!Whenplaying audio data (CD-DA), tag display
isnot effective even if you turn Tag Read (tag
display)on. (Refer to page 28.)
!Ifyou do not operate the function within about
30seconds, the display is automatically re-
turnedto the playback display.
Repeating play
Repeatplay lets you hear the same trackover
again.
1 UseMulti-Control to select Repeat.
Repeatappears in the display.
2 PressMulti-Control to turn repeat play
on.
Repeat:ON appears in the display. The track
currentlyplaying will play to the end and then
repeat.
#Toturn repeat play off, press Multi-Control
again.
Note
Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verse,repeat play is automatically cancelled.
Playing tracks in a random
order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks on the
CDin a random order.
1 UseMulti-Control to select Random.
Randomappears in the display.
2 PressMulti-Control to turn random
playon.
Random:ON appears in the display. Tracks
willplay in a random order.
#Toturn random play off, press Multi-Control
again.
