Rewriting the
entertainment displays
Youcan rewrite the entertainment display.
Pleasecreate or download the data using your
Computer,and record it on CD-R. For details,
pleasevisit

Important
Oncethe rewriting process has started, do not
openthe front panel or turn the ignition off, until
itis completed.
1 PressSOURCE and hold until the unit
turnsoff.
2 Pressand hold ENTERTAINMENT and
DISPLAYuntil the unit goes into download
mode.
Frontpanel is opened automatically and then
DownloadInsert disc and Download Ready
isdisplayed.
#Ifa disc is loaded in the unit, it is ejected auto-
matically.
#Whenthe front panel is open, does not go into
downloadmode even if you press and hold
ENTERTAINMENTand DISPLAY.
3 Insertthe disc containing the rewritten
datainto the CD loading slot.
DOWNLOADREADY appears in the display,
andthen data rewriting will start automati-
cally.NOW LOADING is displayed during re-
writing.

4 AfterFINHSHED is displayed, press
EJECTto open the front panel and ejectthe
disc.
Downloadmode is exited and unit turns off.
Notes
!Donot insert anything other than a CD into
theCD loading slot.
!Itcan take several minutes to complete this
operation.
!Duringdownload mode, buttons other than
EJECTare inactive.
!Tocancel download mode, press EJECT.
!Ifthe rewriting process does not operate prop-
erly,an error message such as CD ERROR
maybe displayed. Refer to Understanding
errormessage on rewriting the entertainment
displayson page 61.
