PushingMulti-Control up or down selects the
presettuning number. P1 P6 is displayed as
thepreset tuning number is selected.
Theradio station frequency assigned to the
presettuning number is recalled from mem-
ory.
#Ifyou do not operate the list within about 8
seconds,the preset channel list mode is can-
celledautomatically.
Note
Youcan also recall radio station frequencies as-
signedto preset tuning numbers by pressing one
ofthe preset tuning buttons 16on the remote
control.
Storing the strongest
broadcast frequencies
BSM(best stations memor y) lets you automa-
ticallystore the six strongest broadcast fre-
quenciesunder preset tuning buttons 16and
oncestored there you can tune in to those fre-
quencieswith the touch of a button.
1 UseMulti-Control to select BSM.
BSMappears in the display.
2 PressMulti-Control to turn BSM on.
BSMbegins to flash. While BSM is flashing
thesix strongest broadcast frequencies will be
storedunder preset tuning numbers 16in the
orderof their signal strength. When finished,
thepreset channel list appears.
#Tocancel the storage process, press
Multi-Control.
3 UseMulti-Control to select the desired
station.
Turnto change the station; press to select.
#Youcan also change the station by pushing
Multi-Controlup or down.
Note
Storingbroadcast frequencies with BSM may re-
placebroadcast frequencies you have saved
usingbuttons 16.
Selecting stations from the
preset channel list
Thepreset channel list lets you see the list of
presetstations and select one of them to re-
ceive.
1 PressLIST to switch to the preset chan-
nellist mode during the frequency display.
2 UseMulti-Control to select the desired
station.
Turnto change the station; press to select.
#Youcan also change the station by pushing
Multi-Controlup or down.
#Ifyou do not operate the list within about 8

Tuningin strong signals
Localseek tuning lets you tune in only those
radiostations with sufficiently strong signals
forgood reception.
1 UseMulti-Control to select Local.
Localappears in the display.
2 PressMulti-Control to turn local seek
tuningon.
Localseek sensitivity (e.g., Local 2) appears in
thedisplay.
