Using subwoofer output
Thisunit is equipped with a subwoofer output
whichcan be turned on or off.
1 UseMulti-Control to select Sub-W1.
Sub-W1appears in the display.
#Whenthe subwoofer controller setting is
PREOUT:FULL, you cannot select Sub-W1.
2 PressMulti-Control to turn subwoofer
outputon.
Sub-W1Normal appears in the display. Sub-
wooferoutput is now on.
#Toturn subwoofer output off, press
Multi-Controlagain.
3 PushMulti-Control left or right to select
thephase of subwoofer output.
PushMulti-Control left to select reverse
phaseand Rev. appears in the display. Push
Multi-Controlright to select normal phase
andNormal appears in the display.
Adjusting subwoofer settings
Whenthe subwoofer output is on,you can ad-
justthe cut-off frequency and the output level
ofthe subwoofer.
1 UseMulti-Control to select Sub-W2.
Sub-W2appears in the display.
#Whenthe subwoofer output is on, you can se-
lectSub-W2.
2 PushMulti-Control left or right to select
cut-offfrequency.
Eachpushing Multi-Control left or right se-
lectscut-off frequencies in the following order:
5080125(Hz)
Onlyfrequencies lower than those in the se-
lectedrange are outputted from the subwoo-
fer.
3 PushMulti-Control up or down to ad-
justthe output level of the subwoofer.
Eachpushing Multi-Control up or down in-
creasesor decreases the level of thesubwoo-
fer.+6 6is displayed as the level is
increasedor decreased.
Using nonfading output
Whenthe nonfading output setting ison, the
audiosignal does not pass through this units
lowpass filter (for the subwoofer), but is out-
puttedthrough the RCA output.
1 UseMulti-Control to select nonfading
outputon/off setting.
NonFadON appears in the display.
#Whenthe subwoofer controller setting is only
PREOUT:FULL, you can switch to the nonfading
outputon/off setting. (Refer to page 55.)
2 PressMulti-Control to turn nonfading
outputon.
NonFadON appears in the display. Nonfading
outputis now on.
#Toturn nonfading output off, press
Multi-Controlagain.
