Turningthe clock displayon or off
Youcan turn the clock display on or off.
%PressCLOCK to turn the clock display
onor off.
Eachpress of CLOCK turns the clock display
onor off.
#Theclock display disappears temporarily
whenyou perform other operations, but the clock
displayappears again after 6 seconds.
Note
Evenwhen the sources are off, the clock display
appearson the display. Pressing CLOCK turns
theclock display on or off.
Using the AUX source
AnIP-BUS-RCA Interconnector such as the
CD-RB20/CD-RB10(sold separately) lets you
connectthis unit to auxiliar y equipment fea-
turingRCA output. For more details, refer to
theIP-BUS-RCA Interconnector owners man-
ual.

Selecting AUX as the source

%PressSOURCE to select AUX as the
source.
PressSOURCE until AUX appears in the dis-
play.
#Ifthe auxiliary setting is not turned on, AUX
cannotbe selected. For more details, see Switch-
ingthe auxiliary setting on page 55.

Setting the AUX title

Thetitle displayed for the AUX source can be
changed.
1 Afteryou have selected AUX as the
source,use Multi-Control and select
FUNCTIONto display TITLE.
2 PressDISPLAY to select the desired
charactertype.
PressDISPLAY repeatedly to switch between
thefollowing character types:
Alphabet(upper case), numbers and symbols
Alphabet(lower case)European letters,
suchas those with accents (e.g. á, à, ä, ç)
Numbersand symbols
3 PushMulti-Control up or down to select
aletter of the alphabet.
Eachpushing Multi-Control up will display a
letterof the alphabet in A B C ... X Y Z, num-
bersand symbols in 1 2 3 ... @ # < order. Each
pushingMulti-Control down will display a let-
terin the reverse order, such as Z Y X ... C B

4 PushMulti-Control right to move the
cursorto the next character position.
Whenthe letter you want is displayed, push
Multi-Controlright to move the cursor to the
nextposition and then select the next letter.
PushMulti-Control left to move backwards in
thedisplay.
5 Movethe cursor to the last position by
pushingMulti-Control right after entering
thetitle.
Whenyou push Multi-Control right one more
time,the entered title is stored in memor y.
6 PressBAND to return to the playback
display.
