Understanding built-in CDplayer error messages
Whenproblems occur during CD play an error
messagemay appear on the display. If an
errormessage appears, refer to the table
belowto see what the problem is and the sug-
gestedmethod of correcting the problem. If
theerror cannot be corrected, contact your
dealeror your nearest Pioneer Service Center.
!Ifno sound is emitted from the speakers,
andthe error message
POWERIC DAMAGE is displayed, the bat-
terymay be dead. Have the unitserviced as
soonas possible.
!Whenthe battery is low, the error message
ErrorDC/DC conv may be displayed when
youtry to adjust the volume orequalizers.
Turnthe source on and off and turn the
ACCon and off. If the message is still dis-
played,have the unit ser viced as soon as
possible.
