#Ifa disc contains less than 10 tracks, pushing
andholding MULTI-CONTROL left recalls the first
trackof the disc. Also, if the remaining number of
tracksafter searching every 10 tracks is less than
10,pushing and holding MULTI-CONTROL left re-
callsthe first track of the disc.
Using disc title functions
Youcan input CD titles and display the title.
Thenext time you insert a CD for whichyou
haveentered a title, the title of that CD will be
displayed.
Usethe disc title input feature to store up to
48CD titles in the unit. Each title can be upto
10characters long.
!Whenplaying a CD TEXT disc, you cannot
switchto disc title input display. The disc
titlewill have already been recorded on a
CDTEXT disc.
Entering disc titles
Youcan display the text information of any
discthat has had a disc title entered.
1 Playthe CD that you want to enter a
titlefor.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
TitleInput in the function menu.
TitleInput appears in the display.
3 PressDISPLAY to select the desired
charactertype.
PressDISPLAY repeatedly to switch between
thefollowing character types:
Alphabet(upper case), numbers and symbols
Alphabet(lower case)European letters,
suchas those with accents (e.g. á,à,ä,ç)
Numbersand symbols
4 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
selecta letter of the alphabet.
Eachtime MULTI-CONTROL is pushed up, al-
phabet,numbers or symbols are displayed in
ascendingorder (A B C ...). Each time
MULTI-CONTROLis pushed down, letters are
displayedin descending order.
5 PushMULTI-CONTROL right to move
thecursor to the next character position.
Whenthe letter you want is displayed, push
MULTI-CONTROLright to move the cursor to
thenext position and then select the next let-
ter.Push MULTI-CONTROL left to move back-
wardsin the display.
6 Movethe cursor to the last position by
pushingMULTI-CONTROL right after enter-
ingthe title.
Whenyou push MULTI-CONTROL right one
moretime, the entered title is stored in mem-
ory.
7 PressBAND to return to the playback
display.
Notes
!Titlesremain in memory, even after the disc
hasbeen removed from the unit, and are re-
calledwhen the disc is reinserted.
!Afterdata for 48 discs has been stored in
memory,data for a new disc will overwrite the
oldestone.
!Ifyou connect a multi-CD player, you can
inputdisc titles for up to 100 discs.
!Whena multi-CD player that does not support
disctitle functions is connected, you cannot
enterdisc titles in this unit.
