Answeringan incoming call

Evenwhen a source other than Telephone is

selectedor when this unit itself is turned off,

youcan still answer incoming calls. If you set

thisunit to automatically answering incoming

calls,refer to Setting the automatic answering

onpage 47.

1 Whena call comes in, press

MULTI-CONTROL.

#Ifthe private mode is selected on the cellular

phone,hands-free phoning may not be per-

formed.

2 Toend the call, press PHONE.

Theestimated call time appears in the display

(thismay differ slightly from the actual call

time).

#Youmay hear a noise when you disconnect

thephone.

Rejectingan incoming call

Youcan reject an incoming call. If you want to

setthis unit to automatically rejecting all in-

comingcalls, refer to Setting the automatic re-

jectingon page 47.

%Whena call comes in, press PHONE.

Thecall is rejected.

ingON HOOK on the remote control.

#Therejected call is recorded in missed call

Answeringa call waiting

Ifwhile you are talking on the phone another

callcomes in, the number (or nameif it is in

yourphone book) of the new caller appearsin

thedisplay to signal that you have a call wait-

ing.You can put the first caller on hold while

youanswer the call waiting, or youcan choose

toreject the call, in which case the number is

loggedas a missed call.

1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to answer a call

waiting.

#PressingMULTI-CONTROL switches between

callerson hold.

2 PressPHONE to end all calls.

PressingPHONE ends all calls including a call

Rejectinga call waiting

Ifyou would rather not interrupt your current

callto answer a call waiting, you can reject it
