7 Press HOME MENU to exit the menu.

Note

•For the 3DYC, the individual parameters are selectable only when:

–You have selected INPUT 1, 2, or 3 as the input source and "Video" as the input signal type (see Selecting an input signal type on page 34); or

–You have selected INPUT 4 as the input source and have not connected a S-Video cable; or You have selected the analogue tuner.

•The 3DYC setting is ineffective when SECAM, PAL60, or 4.43NTSC signals are input.

•For the I-P Mode, the individual parameters are not selectable for the following input signals: 480p, 720p@60 Hz, 576p, 720p@50 Hz, 1080p@24 Hz.

Sound adjustments

FOCUS

This shifts the apparent direction of the sound upward for more clearly defined sound.

1Press HOME MENU.

2Select “Sound“ (/ then ENTER).

3Select “FOCUS“ (/).

4Select the desired parameter (/).

You can adjust the sound quality to your preference with the following settings.

Adjust the sound to your preference for the chosen AV Selection option. See AV Selection on page 28.

1Press HOME MENU.

2Select “Sound“ (/ then ENTER).

3Select an item to be adjusted (/).

4Select the desired level (/).

Note

•You cannot adjust the sound for listening with headphones.

•If you perform sound adjustments with headphones connected, the new settings will become effective as soon as you disconnect the headphones.

•To restore the factory defaults for all items, press / to select "Reset" in step 3, and then press ENTER. A confirmation screen appears. Press / to select "Yes", and then press ENTER.

FOCUS

Selections	Off	Deactivates FOCUS.
	On	Activates FOCUS.

Note

•You cannot set up the sound field for listening with headphones.

•If you set up the sound field with headphones connected, the new setting will become effective as soon as you disconnect the headphones.

•The effect of this function differs depending on signals.

Front Surround

This provides three-dimensional sound effects and/or deep, rich bass.

1Press HOME MENU.

2Select “Sound“ (/ then ENTER).

3Select “Front Surround“ (/).

4Select the desired parameter (/).

Front Surround

Selections	Off	Deactivates both SRS and TruBass
	SRS	Reproduces highly effective three-dimensional
		sound.
	TruBass	Provides deep, rich bass using a new
	(default)	technology.
	TruBass + SRS	Provides both TruBass and SRS effects.

5 Press HOME MENU to exit the menu.
