Mechanical Brake Lever Travel

Frequentlyinspect the brake

lever reserve. Firmly depress

the brake leverand measure the

clearance between the lever and

the brake block. This distance,

brake leverreserve (A), should

be no more than 3/4″(1.9 cm).

If brake lever reserve exceeds

this amount, see your dealer for

service.

Improper brake adjustment could result in brake failure and lead

to serious injury or death. See your dealer for brake service.
