Removing the Side Bulbs, Installing the Side Bulbs | Polaris 2002

MAINTENANCE

General Maintenance

NOTE: Do not touch a halogen bulb with bare fingers. Oil from skin leaves a residue, causing a hot spot which will shorten the life of the lamp.

Removing the Side Bulbs

1Disconnect terminal from back of bulb.

2Turn bulb assembly 1/4 turn to right and withdraw from housing.

Installing the Side Bulbs

1Hold bulb assembly by plastic base and plug into wire terminal.

2Insert bulb assembly into housing.

3Turn bulb assembly 1/4 turn to left to secure in housing.

4Verify headlight operation.

Wrap Around Taillight Bulb Replacement

1Remove phillips screws from the taillight lens (A).

2Working from

front to back, carefully pry lens away from seal and remove lens.

3Pull bulb(s) (B) straight out from socket and insert new bulb(s).

4Reinstall lens.
