5WideTrak models can also be warmed up with the transmission in neutral and the brake engaged. This will allow the engine to warm without engaging the drive system.
NOTE: Don’t leave the machine in this position for more than five minutes. Engine RPM should be at idle before shifting the transmis- sion.
Starting a Warm Engine
1Turn key to “ON.”
2Pull kill switch
3Grasp starter handle and pull slowly until recoil engages; then pull to start.
If the engine does not start on the first pull, slightly depress the throttle with your left hand (no more than 1/4″ open), and pull the rope with your right hand. When the engine starts, immediately release the throttle.
