General Maintenance
NOTE: Do not touch a halogen bulb with bare fingers. Oil from skin leaves a residue, causing a hot spot that will shorten the life of the lamp.
Removing Halogen Bulbs - High/Low Beam
1 | Pinch the ends of the spring (1) |

| together and lift until it releases |

2 | Lift spring carefully around |

| wire harness (2) and flip to | 3 |
| outside of housing. |

| to the bulb (3), withdraw bulb |

| from housing. |

4Grasp bulb by metal base and carefully separate bulb from
harness.5
Installing the Bulb | 4 |
1Hold bulb by metal base and install into wire harness.
2Insert bulb into housing.
3Carefully flip spring back into housing placing it around wire harness.
4Squeeze spring together until it is over the spring retainer and release.
5Verify headlight aim.
Removing Halogen Bulbs - High Beam
1Remove the wire harness (4).
2Gasp the bulb (5) firmly and twist it 1/2 turn counterclockwise.
3Remove the bulb from housing and replace with new bulb.
4Place the bulb and housing back inside the hole and turn the housing 1/2 turn clockwise to lock into place.
5Reinstall the wire harness to the housing.
