DEC 3C3 video connections

If you have a DEC workstation with 3C3 connectors at the computer and monitor video ports:

3C3 connector

1Disconnect your computer-to-monitor cable at the computer end.

2Connect the free end of the monitor cable to the Polaview DEC 3C3-to-LCD adapter (part number C947-10).

3Connect the free end of the DEC 3C3-to-LCD adapter to the projector COMPUTER OUT connector.

4Use the Polaview DEC 3C3-to-LCD connector cable (part number C948-6) to link the projector to the computer. Con- nect the end marked LCD to the projector COMPUTER IN connector, and the end marked COMPUTER to the worksta- tion video-output connector.

BNC video connections

If your workstation does not have a 13C3 video-port connec- tor at the computer video port, but has a BNC connector at the monitor, you need the optional Polaview BNC cables.

1Note which BNC connectors you are currently using with the monitor. (You always use the R, G, and B connectors, but the way you use the H and V connectors depends on the computer configuration.) Disconnect your computer-to- monitor cable at the monitor (BNC) end.
